The fundamental basis of billing at Landolt & Koch is to deliver value for money. We have put in place the two basic conditions for this. First, our legal practice is highly specialised so that we can work for you with great efficiency. Secondly, we keep our cost base low.
Landolt & Koch is concerned to structure its fees in accordance with the client’s preferences as far as permitted by Swiss bar rules.
The traditional approach to lawyers fees is the billable hour where we bill you an agreed rate per time unit we work on your case. We are also most open to discussing with clients other methods of billing in particular with a view to providing the client with greater predictability as to the final amount of legal fees, and sharing the risk of the outcome of the arbitration.
If we adopt these other billing approaches, we will generally wish to base ourselves on a preliminary case analysis. We will provide this to you at a moderate cost.
